CRI present at the 41st Congress of Vine and Wine

Around 600 people attended the annual meeting, held in Punta del Este, Uruguay, from the countries belonging to the OIV, International Organization of Vine and Wine. Sergio Manzano, Winemaker of the CRI´s Experimental Cellar, attended on behalf of Viña Concha y Toro.

Dr. Keren Bindon, PhD in Viticulture from the University of Adelaide, Australia, is a researcher at the Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI). During her visit to Chile, she spoke with collaborators from the winery and visited the Center for Research and Innovation to share her experiences with the team.

In an action that highlights the value of the public-private partnership, the Center for Research and Innovation of Viña Concha y Toro, together with UC Davis Chile, Andrés Bello University and VSPT Wine Group, with the support of CORFO, presented the complete genome of the Carmenere strain.
