Strategic Vision

The strategic R&D plan constitutes a unique opportunity to structure and manage the activities of the CRI in order to produce and communicate high impact applied results for the company and the wine industry.

Strategic Objectives

SO1 Position the CRI at the forefront of applied research and development (R&D) in priority areas for Viña Concha y Toro and the national wine industry.
SO2 Consolidate cutting-edge capabilities for the implementation of high-impact R&D.
SO3 Position the CRI as an innovation agent, ensuring effective transfer of the knowledge generated and R&D results to the industry and society.

Matrix R&D

There are currently more than 50 ongoing R&D initiatives, mainly related to viticulture, oenology, product design and markets. It is important to highlight the level of impact of the initiatives, which are mainly associated with resource optimization, quality and sustainability.
